“Yeah, just watch me.” He took my hand, checked the room number on the key card, and quickly walked to the door.
It was clear that I was getting a spanking whether I wanted one or not—but I wasn’t going to complain. Just being with him brought all the memories back, from our first kiss, to my birthday, to the night that I felt him inside me for the first time. It was easy to forget the time apart when I was in his arms. The future was a mystery, but the present was amazing. His hands pulled at my expensive dress, snapping the expensive threads without bothering to unzip it. His lips moved against mine and his hands explored my body. I did the same to him, pulling at his tuxedo until the jacket was on the floor and his shirt was halfway off his shoulders. Our passion continued to consume us until there was nothing left on our bodies except our underwear.
“Yeah, get over here.” He took me by the arm playfully and sat down on the couch. “We’ll call this an early birthday spanking.”
“Does that mean I won’t get one when I turn twenty-two?” I looked over my shoulder and grinned.
“You got two when you turned twenty-one. If we start now, you can get a whole lot more before midnight strikes on your twenty-second.” He slid my panties down the curve of my hips and exposed my ass.
“Yeah, well…” I leaned over his knee and reached underneath his leg until I was able to wrap my hand around his cock. “Have fun concentrating.”
“You know how to distract me.” He chuckled and gave me a firm smack on my ass.
“Yes I do.” I rubbed his length and heard him groan.
I stroked his cock through his boxers as he began to spank me. I had no problem keeping his attention on what I was doing to him instead of the spanking he intended to give me. He left a pink glow along the surface of my ass and there was a slight sting present when I felt his cock start to throb, but that was all I got. He lifted me off his knee, dropped me against the couch, and slid his boxers down his thighs. Once the condom was unrolled on his length, he slid between my thighs and pressed his glans to my wetness. I gasped as the pleasure engulfed me once he began to enter my pussy. It had been so long that he had to stretch my tightness around his girth, but it was a lot less intense than the first time. I was also extremely wet from the foreplay, so there was plenty of lubrication for his thrusts.
“Would I be awful if I said this was what I missed most?” He gasped again and smiled.
“You’d be an idiot if you didn’t.” I grinned at him and wrapped my legs around his waist.
He sank between my thighs until his abdomen was against my pelvis. His thrusts were hard and fast once he was inside me. It had been so long since we had been together that the pressure quickly began to build. He leaned forward and his kiss began to devour my mouth. I moaned against him as I felt him drive his dick into my g-spot. The spanking turned me on, and feeling his cock in my hand had gotten me so wet that I was almost ready to orgasm after a few thrusts. I managed to hold on for a couple of minutes, but then I felt the pressure build to the point of no return. I dug my nails into his back and my body started to shake. My pussy spasmed against his girth as the pleasure consumed me and my orgasm roared to life. He kept thrusting himself inside me, picking up speed even as I climaxed.
“You feel so good!” I pulled back from his lips and desperately drew breath into my lungs.
“I hope you enjoyed that orgasm, because it’s going to be the first of many.” He pulled me back against his lips and started kissing me again.
It felt like he had lit a stick of dynamite inside me. The orgasm subsided, but his powerful thrusts made another one build up without a moment of hesitation. The second one came as fast as the first and I felt my body going weak, but his dick was still being driven deep inside my pussy. The dynamite was done for a moment, but there was more where the first two came from. My body felt like it was embracing something it had been denied for far too long. That was true, even if the reason for our separation made sense when I left him standing on the sidewalk. The pressure surged to life again and I felt him begin to throb as my third orgasm spasmed on his enormous cock. He pulled back from my lips and groaned with an intense stare on his face.
“Don’t stop.” I begged as I moaned. “You feel so good—and I’m gonna cum again!”
“I’ve got a couple more before I even catch up.” His face tightened up and then he drove his cock deep.
His dick throbbed and pulsated inside me for a moment before I felt the cum rushing through his shaft. It made the condom balloon as his seed filled it. He continued to thrust until every drop had been drained from his body and my orgasm subsided. The thrusts started to pick again at a slower pace and his dick engorged with his desires. He wasn’t kidding when he said he planned to keep going. He finally pulled back and slid his cock to the entrance of my pussy. The first condom was removed and a second one replaced it before he plunged into my wetness again. I felt my eyes roll back in my head when the pleasure began to overwhelm me. Three orgasms was a new record, and he intended to break it before I even got a chance to recover.
“Oh god…” I moaned and felt my back arch underneath his thrusts.
“I wasn’t kidding when I said I missed you—this wasn’t all that I missed, but I’m man enough to admit how much I’ve needed it.” His hips began to pick up speed.
Our passion erupted again and again as the night went on. My eyes were tired and sore when the sun started to peek over the edge of my window. We had barely slept. Every time our eyes got a chance to close, we didn’t keep them shut for long because our desire was ravenous. My whole body ached when I stretched on the bed after he climaxed inside me for the last time. It had taken so long that I knew we were done. If he wanted more, I wasn’t sure I could even participate. Thankfully his body hit the mattress and I saw the same struggle in his eyes. I took his hand and held it as we both drifted off to sleep.

“I wish I could take every word back that you heard.” I reached over and took Lauren’s hand when we finally woke up.
“I just don’t understand you said it.” She looked at me with tears forming in her eyes. “I know you tried to explain yourself after I heard it and in the messages you left me, but none of it really made sense.”
“We were drunk as fuck.” I exhaled sharply. “We started talking about you and Gavin was scared that he had come all the way to Nashville to end up in the same situation that messed things up in Chicago. I lied. There’s no simple way to say it. Lying got so easy after faking my accent, faking our relationship, and it was just too easy to say what he needed to hear.”
“That makes it hard for me to believe anything you say—if lying is that easy.” She looked down at my hand and sighed. “I want to believe this is real, but it’s very difficult.”
“If you’ll give me another chance, I promise I won’t lie to you again. I’m done being that man. I came back to Nashville because I wanted to set the record straight. I didn’t think you would consider giving me another chance, but here we are.” I looked over at her and smiled. “I hope that wasn’t our last night together.”
“I don’t want it to be.” She shook her head with a faint smile on the edge of her lips. “I went through a wide range of emotions—everything from hurt to hate. I finally got to the point where I woke up in the morning and didn’t immediately think of you. If you can be the man I fell in love with, I have no problem trying again. I was a part of the lie we told.”
“Yeah, but you were just an innocent girl from Texas. You weren’t ready for this world. At least I knew what I was getting into. I was a lot more eager than I should have been because I was desperate. I’m not that man anymore. If I was presented with the same choice today, I would tell Sawyer to go to hell.” I squeezed her hand again. “I still might, if he tries to come between us.”
“He won’t.” Her smile got a little w
ider. “I told him the same thing, with a few different words—I might have threatened his life.”
“Oh wow, okay—I guess you’re not the innocent girl from Texas anymore.” I chuckled in disbelief.
“No. Nashville changed me, just like it changed you. Somewhere in the middle of all that change, I believe we can have a second chance.” She nodded and snuggled close to me.
“I have news in the music department. Part of the reason I came to Nashville was to find closure for my country music career entirely because I’ve been offered a record deal.” I squeezed her tightly against my chest. “It’s the kind of music I want to play, with a little bit of Nashville mixed in.”
“They really offered you a record deal after everything that happened? I’m shocked.” She chuckled slightly. “So, when do I get to hear one of those songs?”
“Soon. I mean, it’s only fair. Most of them are about you.” I kissed her forehead. “Please forgive a few of lyrics—I was hurting.”
“Yeah, well, wait until you hear all the angry songs on my next album.” Her chuckle got a little stronger. “I fucking eviscerated you.”
“I’m sure I deserve every single verse.” I nodded and shrugged. “Whatever happened to that duet we sang anyway? Did it ever get on the radio?”
“No, Sawyer buried that thing in the vault after everything blew up. Maybe we’ll have to get our hands on it and let the world hear the real version—without the extra commentary.” He hand started moving down my abdomen. “But enough of this intermission, I’m ready to go again.”
“With pleasure.” I rolled her over and slid between her thighs as our lips came together in a kiss.
One year later
Finding a way to come back together after the storm that had raged between us was difficult. It was easy when we were alone, but the questions that came at both of us in public were hard to answer at first. Neither of us were interested in hiding our relationship after everything we had done to find our way back to happiness. We finally decided to just release a joint statement, explaining that relationships were complicated, and sometimes people deserve a second chance. That seemed to help. Lauren’s die hard fans were still distrustful of me, but we were together. That was all that truly mattered. Our lives were pulled apart as our careers moved in different directions, but we were determined to make it work. Sawyer and Nancy lined up the tours so that they practically ran parallel to each other, which made it easy to meet up after the shows.
We released our own albums, and they told the story of our heartbreak from different angles. It was what Sawyer envisioned from the start, even if they weren’t both under his label. Her album broke records on the country music charts and quickly took the top spot. Mine landed in the middle of the top one hundred on the rock music charts and stayed there until it started to sink. It was much better than I expected, considering how bad my reputation was when it finally came out. I would have loved for it to do better, but Nancy seemed pleased with the response. She wanted another one, and I was ready to hit the studio immediately after the tour was done. The best moments came when neither of us were consumed with our careers and we were able to spend time alone.
“Chicago is as windy as advertised.” Lauren pulled her jacket around her body as we walked.
“Yeah, well, we call this a light breeze.” I chuckled and put my arm around her shoulders.
“Where are you taking me, anyway?” She lifted her head and looked down the street in front of us. “Is this where all the fancy restaurants are?”
“Nah, not exactly. This is kind of a hole in the wall, but it’s a good place to get a steak. Maybe not as good as the ones in Texas where they carve them straight off the bull, but it’s as good as we get.” I chuckled and pointed ahead.
Lauren’s eyes lit up as soon as we stepped into the restaurant. Her eyes traced the crowd and I smiled. Sawyer was there, as were her parents, my parents, and our closest friends. It was a celebration of our love, and the woman on my arm was either going to agree that the ring in my pocket belonged on her finger, or completely embarrass me in front of everyone. I had asked her father’s blessing, and after a long discussion, he finally agreed. Winning over her best friend Misty was a little more difficult, but she eventually came around. I took Lauren’s hand, pulled the ring from my pocket, and dropped down on one knee.
“Oh my god!” Her eyes lit up as she realized what I was doing. “Yes!”
“Wait, I have to ask you first.” I smiled and took her hand. “Lauren Marie Williams, will you please make me the happiest man in the world and be my wife?”
“I already said yes.” She took the ring and slid it on her finger. “Get up and hug me.”
There was a cheer throughout the room when I stood to my feet and tears filled both of our eyes. I took her in an embrace and our lips met for a kiss that was far too passionate for the audience at hand. Neither of us really cared. Our lives had been in front of the cameras for so long that it wasn’t anything they hadn’t seen before. When our lips finally parted, our eyes locked together, and the tears gave way to bliss. I turned to the crowd and held out her hand to show off the ring as people quickly surrounded us to check it out. Hugs were exchanged in every direction as we celebrated our engagement.
“I guess you’re all right.” Misty eyed me suspiciously for a moment and then gave me a hug.
“You’re gonna be next, you know.” Lauren hugged her and giggled. “Zack is going to put a ring on your finger before too long.”
“Introducing us was the best thing you ever did.” Misty smiled and nodded. “I’ll try to catch the bouquet and give him a nudge.”
“I got good aim.” Lauren winked at her.
We continued to exchange pleasantries with our families until we finally got finished with the hugs and quick exchanges. We ordered dinner, shared some drinks, and joked about the journey that led us together. It was a beautiful moment, but nothing could compare to the woman that was going to be my wife. I loved her with every piece of my soul, and the fact she gave me a second chance was more than I deserved. I couldn’t wait to spend the rest of my life making up for my biggest mistake. I would fight until my dying breath to make sure nothing came between us again. Once people started breaking off and having separate conversations, I leaned over and let my lips rest against her ear.
“I love you, Lauren.” I gave her a light kiss.
“I love you too—Mr. Twang.” She giggled and squeezed my hand.
“Oh, you’re going to pay for that one.” I growled and kissed her ear again.
“It was worth it.” She purred lightly and giggled again.

“My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw
Three years later
“Well, she definitely didn’t get your voice.” Brendan rolled over and stared at me as we listened to our daughter scream from the other room.
“I don’t know, I hear a bit of southern twang in those shrill blood-curdling screams.” I let out a loud sigh. “Okay, it’s my turn. I’m going.”
“Give her your breast. That usually shuts me up.” He pulled the covers up around his ears and rolled the blankets into a cocoon.
My wedding with Brendan was beautiful, and we struggled to make the marriage work with our musical careers. We had a lot of passionate nights when we were able to pull away from our crazy schedules. One of those passionate nights had started a new journey. We became parents to a gorgeous little girl named Diana. Our musical obligations were temporarily put on hold once we welcomed her into our life. She had Brendan’s eyes, my hair, and the jury was still out on her voice. A lot of sleepless nights followed, but our complaints were mostly in jest. We loved our baby more than anything else in the world, and Brendan was so protective of his daughter that the paparazzi didn’t even have a photograph yet.
“Okay, Diana.” I scooped her up in my arms and held her close. “Your Daddy has to be on the road tomor
row. We need to let him sleep.”
I took Diana over to my rocking chair and sat down with her in my arms. I rocked slowly as she enjoyed a midnight snack. I stared out the window for a few minutes and then when I looked to my left I saw Brendan standing in the doorway with a smile on his face. He pulled a chair over beside me and sat down. We gently held hands as silence returned to our house for the moment. He had to go to Chicago to work on his next album and he was leaving the following day. I had taken a little more time off than he was able to spare, so it would just be the two of us once he was gone. I hated that he had to go, but it was the life we had chosen. After Diana had her fill of milk, Brendan took her from my arms and cuddled her in his.
“I’m going to miss this so much.” He looked at her and smiled for a moment before lifted his head to look at me.
“Yes, the silence is nice.” I spoke in a low tone and chuckled.
“I’m going to finish the tracks as quickly as possible so I can come home. Gavin is already getting everything else in place.” He exhaled slowly as he spoke.
“I’m glad you two were able to patch things up.” I nodded and smiled.
“I guess now that I’m married with a kid, he figures there’s no chance of things going crazy again.” Brendan looked at Diana and motioned that she was asleep.
He slowly stood and walked Diana back to her crib. She went down without a sound and we joined arms as we watched our daughter sleep. Once we were sure that she wasn’t going to suddenly burst into a crying fit, we started walking back to our bedroom. Brendan wrapped his arms around my waist and lightly kissed my neck. I moaned immediately after being without his touch for so long while I recovered from Diana’s birth. I turned to him and gasped as his kiss got a little fiercer. I sank back into the bed and he ran his hand up my leg, continuing to kiss me. Were both wide awake at that point and it didn’t seem like either one of us were eager to go back to sleep.
